David Byrne's 'American Utopia'

Broadway Show

Another illustration of David Byrne‘s American Utopia on Broadway for The New Yorker. You can see it  online and in the magazine from October 7th.
This illustration was especially fun as I like David Byrne's music a lot - a friend introduced me to his music some years ago- and I listened to it all the time while drawing.
I would have loved to see the show at the Hudson Theatre!

Thank you to AD Neeta Patel for this great opportunity to work for Goings About Town again!
